SPATIAL ENVIRONMENTS | COMPLETED 02/16
A retired soldier once told me how he compared military life and civilian life to wolves and sheep. He said “I was trained to be a wolf and then thrown back into the sheep pin”. Transitioning from military life back into ‘normal’ society can often be difficult for soldiers who don’t suffer from any other drawbacks, even more so for those who are having to grow accustom to other life altering ailments (i.e. wheelchair, or loss of limb, mental confusion).
